ITS TEA TIME....! DO YOU WANT TO TRY OUT A NEW BREAD ITEM..?

CHEESE GARLIC HERBS BREAD

Iingredients:

Maida 450 gms
Butter 20 gms
Wet Yeast 30 gms
Sugar 20 gms
Salt to taste
Water to kneed
For the filling :
2 tbsp garlic paste
5 tbsp grated cheese
Readymade Mixed herbs flakes

Method:

sieve the flour and provide an empty space in the centre of the flour. Put the yeast in this. Add little water and make it into a smooth paste. Add a little more water and mix in the sugar salt and butter. Combine the flour and kneed hard n rigourously to form a smooth dough. Keep the dough in a warm place for one hour so that it rises to 3 times its volume n size. Meanwhile grease and dust a bake tray and keep ready.

Once the dough has successfully risen, punch the dough in the middle to remove the air out. Combine the dough and kneed again. Cut with a dough cutter and divide into equal portions. You may apply a little maida if its sticky but keep that bare minimum. Roll out the balls slightly. Rub in the garlic paste into half the portion of the dough.. sprinkle the grated cheese and some herbs flakes and fold the other half over it. Rub the top of the prepared shapes with a little butter and sprinkle some herbs again on the top.

Leave the ready dough for another 15 mins to rise again. Then bake at 220 degrees centigrade for 20 mins-25 mins...depending upon the browning you want on the top you may increase or decrease the bake time. Once its bake successfully remove out of the oven and grease the top of the breads again with a little melted butter to give a glazed finish.
