NANKATAI TRADITIONAL KONKANI BAKED SWEET BY SANDHYA KINI MAYENKAR

THE FIRST THING WHEN I SAW THIS DISH I SAID I HAVE TO MAKE IT JUST RIGHT AWAY TRY THIS TRADITIONAL NANKATAI A TRADITIONAL KONKANI SWEET..!


NANKATAI 

INGREDIENTS : 

Maida 1 cup
Powdered sugar 1/2 cup
Melted ghee 1/3 cup
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Elachi powder 1/2 tsp

METHOD :

Method: seive the maida and baking soda n keep aside. 
Luke warm the ghee slightly so that it melts. Mix in the sugar powder till it melts fully in ghee. Fold in the maida little by little. Lastly add the elachi powder n keep aside for at least 3 hrs. 
Make small balls n bake at 150°c for 10-12 mins. Cool on a wire rack. 
The above quantity will give u about 20-25 medium size nankatais.
