BANANA KHEER BY JAYANTI SHANBHAG

BANANA KHEER


INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Water
4 Ripe bananaS
1 tsp Cardamom
4 cups Milk
3 tbsps Butter
1 cup Jaggery powdered
1/2 tsp Saffron


METHOD:


Mash ripe bananas to form a rough paste.

In a pan add 1 tbsp butter and melt.

Add banana paste and fry till brown.

Add jaggery and keep mixing properly

Add milk and water.Simmer and cook for 5 mins

In a bowl add 1 tbsp of butter and scliced almounds,cashews and raisins and roast it

Add saffron to payasam and bring to a boil.

Add cardammom powder and butter roasted dry fruits to it and mix properly

Bring to a boil by increasing the heat and cooking for 5mins.
Serve hot
