RAGADA PATTIES BY SOUMYA KAMATH


RAGADA PATTIES

INGREDIENTS:

4 potatoes
ginger, garlic, green chilly cores paste
1 bread crumbs
2 spoons corn flour
garam masala powder
coriander jeera powder
oil
1 cup white channa
mustard seeds
1 onion
red chilli powder
salt

METHOD:

PATTIES:

Cook 4 potatoes in cooker for 3 whistle  ....
Smash it with hands to smooth paste ..
 add ginger, garlic, green chilly paste mix ... add salt,1 bread crumbs, 2 spoons corn flour, garam masala powder, coriander jeera powder ...
make it to round pattie …. Deep or shallow fry as per your taste …




RAGADA:

Soak white channa overnight … cook in cooker for 4 whistle till soft…
In a pan add mustard seeds let it splutter add onion fry it…
Add ginger, garlic, green chilly paste and fry ..
Add  1 spoon red chilli powder,1 spoon garam masala powder , 3 spoons coriander jeera powder, salt…
Now add cooked channa and bring it to boil ….
Ragada is ready

Chutney:

Green chutney – pudina , corriender leaves , salt, green chillies, ginger, tamarind small piece blend it in mixer to smooth paste

Sweet chutney- cook dates, jaggary, tamarind to soft paste… now blend it in mixer 



place pattie on top add ragada ... sprinkle some chutney, onion, shev or any fried farsan, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, lemon juice...
