AVALE KADI ( AMLA KADI) BY RAJANI DINESH KAMATH

AMLA IS THE RICHEST SOURCE OF NATURAL VITAMIN C...A SPECIAL DISH WITH AMLA TO SHARE WITH ALL


"AMLA KADI"

INGREDIENTS : 
2 Tsp  Jeera
6-8 Pepper corns, 6-8 Garlic cloves,
2 tsp Grated coconut 
Green/red chillies 

Heat a griddle and dry roast jeera, pepper corns, garlic cloves. Add 2 tsp 

grated coconut and green/red chillies and fry for 1min. Grind the roasted ingredients into a 

paste. At the end, add the amla (Bettadanellakai/Gooseberries soaked in salt) 

by removing the seed and grind to a smooth paste. Add water to the needed consistency 

and salt to ur taste. Bring to a boil. Add the Mustard and curry leaves seasoning. Serve with 

hot rice to enjoy the Aroma of the amla:)
