MULI PARATHAS BY NANDINI PAI


MULI /MULANGI/ TURNIP PARATHAS... NORMALLY THIS VEGETABLES WILL LEAVE A SMELL IN THE ROOM AND CURRY BUT IF IT IS USED IN PARATHAS U CAN REDUCE THE SMELL.

MULI PARATHA

INGREDIENTS: -

wheat fiour-2cups,1 cup water approx,1/2 tsp salt,1/2 sugar,for filing-muli grated 1
cup,finely chopd onions-small 1,red chilipowder-2tsp,garlic ginger paste-1/2 tsp(optional)dhaniya powder-1/2 tsp,kasoori methi -1/2tsp,salt.ghee,jerra 1tsp,coriander leaves 

 METHOD 
Make soft dough keep aside for 1/2 hr,filling-in a karahi heat oil-add jeera...add onions frx them for 2mnts add muli,powders salt kasoori methi coriander leaves.allow it cool :divide dough in to equal parts shape into round balls roll out spread 1tsp ghee then spread out 1tbsp of filling all over,make a slit strg from the centre till end start rolling from the slit,to form a cone.keeping the cone upright ,press slightly.roll out applying pressure only at centre. Do not roll too much on the edges .put on the hot tawa cook both sides.

YUMMY PARATHAS ARE READY TO BE SERVED... !!!
