GOAN PRAWN CURRY BY SANDHYA KINI MAYENKAR

GOAN PRAWN CURRY

INGREDIENTS :

250 grms prawns
5-6 ladyfingers
Half coconut scrapped
4-5 red long chillies
4-5 red small chillies
2 onions finely chopped
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
One small ball tamarind
3-4 kokum flakes
1 tsp haldi powder
½ tsp rice
2 tbsp oil for frying
1 maggi cube optional and Salt to taste


METHOD :

Clean and devein the prawns and apply little salt and keep.
Grind to a very fine paste cononut scrapped, chillies, one onion finely chopped, tamarind, haldi powder rice.
In a thick bottom kadai heat oil. Fry one finely chopped onion. The add the prawns and fry for two mins. Then add the ladyfingers cut long. And the ground masala n kokum flakes n little water. let it be a thick curry. Cover and cook for 10 mins. Add one Maggie cube and salt to taste.
Serve hot with Rice and pickle.
