MANGO PHIRNI BY NAMITHA PRABHU

DELICIOUS MANGO RECIPE READY TO TRY...????


 INGREDIENTS:
*. 1 liter full cream milk
*. 2 tbsp. rice
*. 1 tbsp. sugar (for those who like it sweet)
*. 1 ripe Alphonso mango puree
*. Almonds/pistachios, chopped 

METHOD:1. Wash and soak the rice for half an hour. Drain and grind in a blender until you get a semolina-liketexture.2. Meanwhile, heat the milk and bring to a boil. Addthe sugar (if using) and simmer for about 10 minutes. 3. Add the rice to the boiling milk and cook until youhave a thick cream in your pot.4. Add the mango puree and stir for about a minute.Pour into bowl of choice and garnish with choppedalmonds/ pistachios.
