TRADITIONAL PATHRODA BUT COOKED IN DIFFERENT STYLE WHICH MAKES THIS DISH EVEN MORE SPECIAL...!!
" PHANNA PATHRODA "
INGREDIENTS :
1/4th Cup Urid Dal
1 Cup Rice
4 Red Chilli's
Arvi/ colocassia Leaves
1 Tsp Methi seeds
1 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1 Tsp Oil
METHOD :
Prepare the paste by mixing Urid Dal, Rice along with Red chilli and salt together. Apply on Arvi leaves as layers after layer as shown in the below picture.
Make a tight Roll as shown in the below picture...Usually you can use Moong dal and Rice. But this is special one where we have used Rice and Urid dal as combination.
Cut the roll in 3 Inch pieces.
Main Difference is instead of pedavan to bake, its kaayli used to cook the Pathrada's.
1) Put oil and methi seeds, add mustards seeds.
Yummy Pathrados are ready to be served...!!! Every Konkani's will relish this Pathroda's for sure..!

2) Drop the rolled Pathroda's slowly in this oil. With the rest of paste mix some water and pour it on this Pathrodas till it gets cooked.
