KADAGI CHAKKO BY VATHSALA KAMATH

INGREDIENTS:
Kadgi one small cut into pieces and cook till done
Urad dhal 1 tspn

Dhanya seeds 3 tspns
Red chillies as per taste
Tamarind 1 lemon size
Coconut 1/2 grated
Coconut oil for seasoning
Mustard and curry leaves
 

METHOD:
Roast urad dhal and coriander seeds. Take grated coconut,roasted dhal, dhanya seeds , chillies and tamarind grind coarsely. . Mix this with cooked Kadgi and salt. Take oil in a kadai. Add mustard and curry leaves. To this add Kadgi mixed masala and little water if required. Cook well. Last add raw coconut oil. Serve hot with dali thoy rice. ..
