INGREDIENTS:
milk
Condensed milk
sugar
grated paneer
Elaichi/Cardamom powder
butter
pistachios (Used cashews here since I dint have pistachios)
METHOD:
If you have a sweet tooth and lots of milk left, kalakhand is one of the sweet dishes that you should definitely try.
I heated the milk over low flame and boiled it. Added two spoons of Condensed milk, sugar and grated paneer. Keep stirring continuously. After about 7-8 minutes it starts forming a thick mass. Add Elaichi/Cardamom powder and pour it over a butter greased container. Let it cool and refrigerate. Cut into desired shape and garnish with chopped pistachios (Used cashews here since I dint have pistachios)
